The Sierra Tarahumara
is a region in northwestern Mexico that is part of the Sierra Madre Occidental and is home to the Tarahumara people and Copper Canyon. The area is known for its canyons, waterfalls, rock formations, and family areas where the Tarahumara people still live in caves.
The Sierra Tarahumara and the Copper Canyon, are truly remarkable destinations in Mexico. Located in the state of Chihuahua, these areas are home to the Rarámuri indigenous people, who have a rich cultural heritage that includes unique traditions, crafts and, of course, delicious and different food. The Raramuris or Tarahumaras Its an indigenous group of people in North Mexico. They live in the High Sierras or Canyons of northern Mexico. There are between 50,000 and 70,000 habitants who still mostly practice their traditional lifestyle from epic habitants living in caves under the mountains to their athletic talent of being some of the best runners in the world, and the hand making of their beautiful and artistical traditional dresses and clothes.
